Senior System Owner

We are looking for a Senior System Owner with the ability to lead the System Integration of our Rider Safety team, cross complex and multi-disciplinary solutions.
In this role you will holds end-to-end engineering responsibility for a complete top-level system delivered to specific customers and internal stakeholders, while overseeing the sub-systems. This role ensures that user needs, customer needs, requirements, and technical obligations are fully understood, translated into system specifications, and realized through cross functional collaboration.
The System Owner leads system definition, requirement management, and integration of subsystems (owned by other internal teams (sub-system owners) into a fully validated system delivery. You will work in our agile teams, contributing to the success of our Rider Safety initiatives.
Your challenge would include these tasks and responsibilities:
Own the system’s technical definition, performance, and maturity across the full lifecycle
Act as the primary customer-facing engineering contact and ensure compliance with requirements and standards
Lead system-level technical decisions, reviews, changes, and concessions
Capture, structure, and manage customer, user, and stakeholder requirements with full traceability
Define system architecture, boundaries, interfaces, and performance criteria across domains
Lead subsystem integration and coordinate cross‑functional engineering, manufacturing, quality, and testing
Drive issue resolution, interface stability, and end‑to‑end system problem solving
Ensure verification, validation, compliance, and provide senior technical leadership and governance representation
and if you also have/are:
8–10 years of experience in complex systems engineering, system integration, or technical ownership roles.
Strong background in systems engineering principles (e.g., requirements decomposition, interfaces, V-cycle, V&V, ASPICE).
Proficiency with requirement management tools and processes (CodeBeamer, ReqMan or similar).
Demonstrated experience delivering systems in serial projects or customer‑specific programs.
Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams or coordinating multiple sub‑system owners.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills in multi‑disciplinary technical environments.
Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting directly with customers and senior stakeholders.
