Embedded Automotive Software Developer for Digital Development

We are expanding our team within our Global Innovation Center in Vårgårda / Gothenburg and are looking for engineer with a focus on embedded devices.
About the role
As an Embedded Developer you will build the future software platform for Autoliv’s next generation products. You will work closely with research to optimize and integrate the latest knowledge into products that we put in the hands of users. You will also have opportunity to work closely with our electronics/system department, influencing choices of MCUs, sensors, and more.
You will work in a small team responsible for building a toolbox of software components to quickly industrialize ideas. The team will own the bootstrapping of projects, as well as building the frameworks that will be used to accelerate the time from a prototype to a product in the hands of a user.
The team will be a central part in the digital strategy in the global context that is Autoliv. You will work in an international team together with teams from all over the world.
You will work in various environments such as, bare-metal MCUs, and AUTOSAR stacks. The tools of the trade are C, C++, and automation using Python. Functionalities is developed together whit system experts and will be tested/tuned in vehicle and/or virtual environment. The models and source code are kept in git and we automate our testing and integration using Azure DevOps.
Relevant Experience:
- Experience in advanced control systems
- Hands-on experience with automotive systems
- SW design considering e.g. ISO26262 & Cyber Security
- SW development in C, C++, Python
- Understanding of Application SW development and the related environment.
- Experience of developing software architecture
- Knowledge and experience of Unit testing
- Experience in system and integration testing
- Hands on experience of a requirement management tool
- Knowledge in version control tools (git)
- Knowledge of Automotive CAN protocol
- B driver license
Meritorious Experience
- Matlab / Simulink
- Linux
